The Missions started by Five American La Salette Missionaries in 1937. The first missionaries arrived on the 9th of November, 1937. The native Burmese (Myanmar) missionaries re-established themselves in 2005. Now the missionaries are in 3 different countries: Burma (Myanmar), France and the United States. They are ministering in two dioceses in Myanmar, with the shrine to Our Lady of the Rosary in Chanthagone, Paleik, Mandalay. This blog is started to prepare for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the La Salette Missionaries in Burma.
